The camera requires an antenna and receiver (available separately) for transmission, and it uses a 5.725 to 5.875 GHz operating frequency on eight user selectable channels for video output transmissions. This setup is suitable for use in applications such as parking lots, harbors, construction sites, and freeways.   The camera features a 1/3" Sony 960H CCD sensor for 700 TVL resolution, and it uses a 2.8-12mm varifocal lens with IR LEDs for up to 90' of night vision. There is an IR cut filter that can function mechanically or automatically, depending on your preference. Zone configurable backlight compensation and automatic white balance features assist in capturing clear images in ambient lighting. Furthermore, an OSD menu allows you to conveniently configure and adjust all of these settings. The wireless camera is placed in an IP66-rated weatherproof cast aluminum housing for outdoor use.
