This course certifies trainees with a Grade 3 Rigger certificate which equips them to manage complex loads, cranes and alternative lifting devices. After completing this rigger Grade (III) course learners will have the opportunity to make a good career in the field of rigger.Rigging courses come in three forms:
basic, intermediate, and advanced levels. Before applying for their rigging license, prospective riggers must complete an authorized training.This level of training rounds out the technical knowledge for the person who must ensure that all aspects of the rigging job are properly assessed and that safety is assured. This one-day program includes learning materials, interactive classrooms and hands-on exercises.
A Level III rigger is someone who has a basic knowledge of coupler configuration, awareness of the hazards involved, signal manipulation, and various types of rigging, inspecting rigging prior to use, demonstrating or equivalent rigging identification and application. Riggers who can successfully demonstrate their knowledge or have equivalent knowledge. Basic knowledge of how to use the towbar and its application.
