Most modern EFI systems are incorporated in an ECU which also controls the ignition system, and may control may other functions such as anti-lock brakes, traction control systems, the transmission, etc. A fuel injection system itself consists of a source of pressurized fuel, fuel injectors and the electronic controller. The fuel system is composed of the fuel tank, a high pressure pump, and some method for regulating fuel pressure. The injectors can be though of as electrically operated valves. The amount of fuel delivered to the engine is determined by size of the injectors, the amount of time that the injectors are open, and on the fuel pressure. The electronic controller to determines how much fuel is needed and commands the injectors to remain open for the necessary amount of time to deliver the needed fuel volume. The amount of time that the injector is open is called the pulse width and is usually expressed in milliseconds (one thousands of a second). A simple EFI system can operate fairly effective with just these three inputs. However, many systems include additional inputs from the following types of sensors. Most sensors are of one of two types. Some are simple on-off switches or counters, such as a gear indicator or tachometer. Most measure continuous variables like temperature or airflow. These sensors produce a 0-5v output. This signal is read by the ECU (computer). By referring to a calibration table, the ECU translates the signal into a value representing the physical parameter which is being measured, such as airflow in units of mass/time or temperature. The tuning process boils down in most cases to changing the values in these tables. The Electronic Fuel Injection system fitted to most modern vehicles combines sophisticated computer controls with a high pressure fuel delivery system to provide optimum power and fuel efficiency. The system is controlled by an electronic control unit (ECU). Fuel injection is the introduction of fuel in an internal combustion engine, most commonly. These examples specifically apply to a modern EFI gasoline engine. Parallels to fuels other than gasoline can be made, but only conceptually. Auto Electricians install, maintain, identify faults and repair electrical wiring and computer-based equipment in motor vehicles and related equipment, such as caravans, trailers, earthmoving equipment, mining equipment, marine applications and agricultural equipment, An electrician is a tradesperson specializing in electrical wiring of buildings, stationary machines, and related equipment. Electricians may be employed in the installation of new electrical components or the maintenance and repair of existing electrical infrastructure. Electricians may also specialize in wiring ships, airplanes, and other mobile platforms, as well as data and cable. Automotive electronics are any electrically-generated systems used in road vehicles, such as: carputers, telematics, in-car entertainment systems, etc. Automotive electronics originated from the need to controll engines. The first electronic pieces were used to control engine functions and were referred to as engine control units (ECU). As electronic controls began to be used for more automotive applications, the acronym ECU took on the more general meaning of "electronic control unit", and then specific ECU's were developed. Now, ECU's are modular. Two types include engine control modules (ECM) or transmission control modules (TCM). A modern car may have up to 100 ECU's and a commercial vehicle up to 40. Automobile engineering, along with aerospace engineering and marine engineering, is a branch of vehicle engineering, incorporating elements of mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and safety engineering as applied to the design, manufacture and operation of motorcycles, automobiles and trucks and their respective engineering subsystems. It also includes modification of vehicles. Manufacturing domain deals with the creation and assembling the whole parts of automobiles is also included in it.The automotive engineering field is research -intensive and involves direct application of mathematical models and formulas. The study of automotive engineering is to design, develop, fabricate, and testing vehicles or vehicle components from the concept stage to production stage. Production, development, and manufacturing are the three major functions in this field. Automobile Engineering is mainly divided into three streams such as production or design engineering focuses on design components, testing of parts, co - ordinating tests, and system of a vehicle. Most modern EFI systems are incorporated in an ECU which also controls the ignition system, and may control may other functions such as anti-lock brakes, traction control systems, the transmission, etc. A fuel injection system itself consists of a source of pressurized fuel, fuel injectors and the electronic controller. The tuning process boils down in most cases to changing the values in these tables.Mass Air Flow (MAF – a sensor which directly measures airflow into the motor)Intake Air Temperature (IAT – an electronic temperature sensor to measure the temperature of the air entering the motor)Coolant Temperature Sensor (ACT – an electronic temperature sensor to measure the temperature of the engine coolant)Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS – an electronic speedometer)Oxygen sensor (O2 sensor – measures the amount of oxygen in the exhaust which reflects the A:F (air:fuel) ratio)Knock sensor (a microphone which picks up the characteristic sound of engine knock)Crankshaft position (a magnetic sensor that tells the ECU which cylinder is ready to fire or receive fuel)Transmission sensors (these may include gear selection, pressure, and temperature sensors)Emission control device operation (a variety of functions may be monitored by different sensors)Advanced Throttle Body Fuel injectionNo tuning experience required – System provides self-mapping fuel technology to continually monitor and adjust fuel calibrationReady to run right out of the box with pre-loaded calibrations Supports fully programmable Ignition Control to optimize performance and fuel economyAccepts traditional round air cleaners and maintains same hood clearance as a carbEasy to use E Tuner App that communicates via Bluetooth wireless for ECU setup and engine tuning adjustmentsCapable of adapting to limitless engine and camshaft profiles Available with or without 7″ Android Touch screen device with pre-loaded E Tuner AppEFI Electronic fuel injection system Course in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Pakistan. 03115193625, 3354176949EFI Course Content:Tools Power outputFuel efficiencyEmissions performanceRunning on alternative fuels Reliability Drive ability and smooth operation Initial cost Maintenance cost Diagnostic capabilityRange of environmental operationEngine tuning. Engineers specializing in these fields have transformed the 21st century with technologies such as universal electric power systems, television, radio and medical imaging to name just a few examples. Our department has one of the finest faculty in the country who have studied and worked for institutions of international repute. The faculty members are dedicated to carrying out research and involving capable students in individual projects. The Department of Electrical Engineering has a carefully designed curriculum which offers a wide range of knowledge, aiming at an integrated education and training of future technologists, entrepreneurs and engineering workforce for the private and public sector. It is important to highlight that both Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) recognize BS in electrical engineering program at Oasis Institute of Skill and Technologies International. Welcome to the Electrical Engineering Department (EED) at Oasis Institute of Skill and Technologies International, Islamabad. At Oasis Institute of Skill and Technologies International, our students have access to a wide array of subjects, including electronics, communication systems, control systems, power systems, microwave engineering, digital signal processing, renewable energy, bioelectronics, robotics and photonics. Our goal for students is to give them a high-quality engineering education that includes hands-on experience. Among the most famous electronics and electrical engineers that you may have heard of are Nikola Tesla (pioneer of commercial electricity and electromagnetism), Thomas Edison (developer of the light bulb and inventor of the record player), Jack Kirby (inventor of the pocket calculator and the integrated circuit), Mercian Hoff (inventor of the microprocessor) and Martin Cooper (inventor of the mobile phone). Electrical engineering degrees will equip students with knowledge of how the industry works, as well as giving them the engineering skills and technological knowledge needed to design, assess and improve electrical and electronic systems. The difference between electrical and electronics engineering is often blurred, but it is generally true to say that electrical engineers are concerned mainly with the large-scale production and distribution of electrical power, while electronics engineers focus on much smaller electronic circuits. If you’re interested in how electrical devices work, are inquisitive, and have a strong interest in mathematics and science, then you probably already have some essential engineering skills and an electrical or electronics engineering degree may well be for you. Although technical knowledge is essential, electrical engineers are also involved in designing and building a range of devices, often within teams. At bachelor level, an electrical engineering degree will aim to give students grounding in the underlying principles of electronic and electrical engineering, before allowing specialization in an area of interest later on in the course. Students will also be involved in projects working within groups. Like most engineering subjects, it is best to imagine that you will be committed to your course every day of the working week. Although you almost certainly won’t be sitting in lectures for eight hours a day, your study timetable will be busy and will feature a range of learning methods, including laboratory work, tutorials, lectures, project work, group work and individual research. Course Outline: Linear Circuit Analysis Linear Circuit Analysis Lab Workshop Practice Lab Applied Physics Applied Calculus Introduction to Computing Introduction to Computing Lab Islamic Studies
