Batman: Arkham Knight/u00a0is a 2015/u00a0action-adventure/u00a0video game/u00a0developed by/u00a0Rocksteady Studios/u00a0and published by/u00a0Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Based on the/u00a0DC Comics/u00a0superhero/u00a0Batman, it is the successor to the 2013 video game/u00a0Batman: Arkham Origins, and the fourth main installment in the/u00a0Batman: Arkham/u00a0series. Written by/u00a0Sefton Hill, Ian Ball and Martin Lancaster,/u00a0Arkham Knight/u00a0is inspired by the long-running comic book mythos. Set one year after the events of 2011's/u00a0Batman: Arkham City, the game's main storyline follows Batman as he confronts/u00a0Scarecrow, who has launched an attack on/u00a0Gotham City, causing a citywide evacuation. Scarecrow, with the help of the mysterious/u00a0Arkham Knight, is also able to unite Batman's greatest foes in an attempt to finally destroy Batman.
