Parents role in their Child's Studies & Personality developing !
We must know that a Child is physiologically vulnerable to everything going on between his parents whereas a parenting style reflect the cultural understanding
& is but considered the overall emotional climate in the home for a child
A parenting practice is a specific behavior that a parent uses in raising a child. For example, a common parent practice intended to promote academic success is reading books to the child. Storytelling is an important parenting practice for children in many Indigenous communities
we must know & realize that a child’s development is partly focused on the importance of "respect" for all things as part of the child’s moral & human development. "Respect" in this sense is an emphasis of recognizing the significance of and understanding for one's relationship with other things and people in the world. Nonverbal communication is much of the way that children learn about such "respect" from parents & other family members
Younger children are becoming more independent & are beginning to build friendships. They are able to reason & can make their own decisions given hypothetical situations. Young children demand constant attention, but will learn how to deal with boredom and be able to play independently. They also enjoy helping & feeling useful & able. Parents may assist their child by encouraging social interactions & modelling proper social behaviors. A large part of learning in the early years comes from being involved in activities and household duties. Parents who observe their children in play or join with them in child-driven play have the opportunity to glimpse into their children’s world, learn to communicate more effectively with their children & are given another setting to offer gentle, nurturing guidance. Parents must take part in teaching their children health, hygiene & eating habits through instruction and by example
Child's mistake can be attributed to two different reasons. on one hand, mistakes happens out of a child ignorance i.e. having no idea about the right way of getting things done. On the other hand, the child knows the right way, but he is unable to do it properly or his determination on opposing the right behavior. Every way has a special way of treatment
Students whose parents are more involved with their schooling tend to complete higher levels of education and are more likely to graduate from high school than peers whose parents are not so involved. Students whose teachers reported higher levels of parental involvement were more likely to graduate high school or earn a GED than peers whose parents were not so involved, and those who did not graduate were more likely to have completed a higher grade in high school. The more years a parent was involved, the greater was this association with educational attainment.
sometimes we see
Depressed children are more likely to live with depressed parents. In single parent families the stress is always present because of the family situation. One parent performs dual roles for the child & that is stressful for both of them. The single mother is a provider for the family and also a care-taker. But the first role is of primary concern because that rile was not her role originally, that is why the mother has to work harder at it. At that time the second role of the mother as a care-taker is partially abandon because of the lack of time left to spend with a child. The mother may express overt changes in behavior, such as anger & frustration, to show hew feelings of helplessness. In this case the child can sense the depression and unhappiness of the mother because there is no father figure to be more influential than the mother.
Most of the problems that families & children face are not covered & only certain diagnoses will be treated. Public programs across the country lack adequate funding. The schools have programs, but they desperately need more staff and money to meet the demands that currently exist.
